Crosshaven, in the island of Ireland is situated in the mouth of Cork Harbour. It is home to the oldest yacht club in the world: Royal Cork Yacht Club which was founded in 1720. The main approach to Crosshaven from Cork boasts beautiful walks with sea, river and land views. Crosshaven is rich in history and one can often hear the whispering stories of England’s Sir Francis Drake as he eluded the Spanish Armada by sailing upriver and sheltering in the estuary.

Cros tSeáin was built in 1943 on the site of the old Crosshaven Railway Station and has grown in strength and numbers over the years.
