Scoil Chros tSeáin has been such a busy place over the past few weeks.

All classes have been busy with school tours and have really enjoyed their days out.

Our school hurling team were outstanding throughout this years Sciath na Scoil competition and fought every game with such heart and determination. The boys were defeated in the semi-final by Ballinora, losing out by four points, in a fantastic display in Camden. We are very proud of a super group of hurlers.

The senior classes have been very lucky to have a rugby coach in once a week to teach them new skills. The junior classes have also been busy playing hurling and football.

Ronnie Whelan paid the school a visit on May 25th and treated the boys to a display of his soccer skills.

5th and 6th class made their Confirmation recently and a few weeks later, 2nd class received their First Holy Communion. Well done to the boys and all the staff involved in preparing the boys for the sacraments.

Ms.Maher has been working hard with The Green School Committee and we received our third green flag, for energy, on May 27th. Have a look at the Green Schools page above for more information on this. Well done to all involved!

Fourth class headed down to The Point on May 29th and did a great job cleaning up. Thanks to Bernard from Centra for feeding our hungry rubbish collectors on the day! Check out the Fourth Class page for more details and photographs.
